Therapy with Molly

My therapeutic style is collaborative, warm, and developmentally informed. I believe that therapy works best when it is built on a strong therapeutic relationship, where individuals feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. I take the time to get to know each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals, and I tailor my approach to meet their individual needs. I recognise that wellbeing is shaped by many factors, including family relationships, social environments, culture, and life experiences, and I aim to understand these broader influences when working with clients.

I primarily draw on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), adapting these approaches to suit each individual’s needs and goals. CBT can help people identify patterns in the way they think, feel, and respond to challenging situations, while developing practical strategies to cope more effectively. Through this process, individuals can gain greater insight into themselves and build skills to navigate difficulties with increased confidence. Alongside this, ACT encourages the development of psychological flexibility, helping individuals make meaningful choices guided by their values, even when facing discomfort or uncertainty. Together, these approaches support personal growth, resilience, and a greater sense of wellbeing.

Above all, I strive to create a supportive and empowering therapeutic space where individuals feel comfortable exploring challenges, building on their strengths, and developing the confidence to navigate life’s difficulties. My goal is to help clients foster resilience, deepen their understanding of themselves, and work towards a meaningful and fulfilling life.
