“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” — Carl Rogers

Therapy with Pete

Therapy with me is grounded in the belief that our perceptions strongly shape how we experience the world. While these perceptions can be helpful, they can also make life more difficult than it needs to be. Part of our work together involves exploring these patterns and developing more flexible and supportive ways of relating to thoughts, emotions, and challenges.

I aim to understand the person I am working with — where you have been, where you are now, and what you would like to work toward. My therapeutic style is collaborative, curious, and compassionate, while remaining realistic and goal-focused. A key foundation of my approach is fostering self-compassion and self-understanding.

I draw on evidence-based therapeutic approaches and adapt my work to suit each individual’s needs, values, and circumstances. I strive to create a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make changes that align with what matters most to them.
