Narissa provides therapy and assessments for children and adults, taking special interest in anxiety and ADHD issues in children.

Narissa is a Registered Psychologist. Narissa commenced working at The READ Clinic in 2020 as a Provisional Psychologist in her final year after completing her Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Newcastle. Narissa has training experience and a background in emotional and behavioural regulation, toileting issues, and social skills and play development in children with anxiety, ADHD, intellectual disability and ASD. She also has training and experience in mindfulness-based stress reduction and cognitive behavioural therapy for adults and with the group based cool kids program for children with anxiety. She provides therapy for both children and adults, taking special interest in behavioural issues in children. She also provides IQ assessments where there are concerns about learning style or disability or suspected ADHD.

Registered practitioners at The READ Clinic are independent contractors who engage The READ Clinic to provide administrative support. All decisions regarding client treatment and care are the responsibility of the individual practitioners.
