Therapy with Mark

My approach to therapy starts with curiosity and compassion, listening to your story, the challenges you face, and the goals you wish to attain. I value evidence-based treatment that begins with our therapeutic alliance —a merging of empathy, honesty, trust, and collaboration. My primary treatment modality is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, from which we can adopt strategies to support your progress and develop self-sufficiency in managing thoughts, emotions and behaviour.

My early career as a frontline health worker has given me the confidence and ability to listen, understand, and care for people with a respectful, culturally reflective practice for all. I am enthusiastic about working with people of all ages and walks of life.

In working together, we may also recognise that your goals for therapy could best be met by another psychologist. In this situation, my interest in your successful therapy journey will see me refer you to their care.
