Therapy with Kimberly
My therapeutic style can be described as warm, collaborative, and grounded in structure. I work with young adults who may appear to be managing well but internally are caught in exhausting cycles of self-criticism, anxiety, or difficult feelings about their bodies and sense of worth. Therapy with me is a place to slow down, make sense of those patterns, and connect with your emotional experiences without judgement.
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches — including CBT, ACT, DBT, and Schema Therapy — and tailor these to what you actually need. What this looks like in practice is a blend of learning practical strategies and doing deeper emotional processing work, so that change feels both grounded and sustainable.
Transparency is something I value deeply in the therapeutic relationship. I believe that understanding why you feel and respond the way you do is an integral part of the process. Together, we work toward a steadier, more compassionate way of living. One where you’re responding to life with greater intention, rather than reacting from a place of shame or survival.
