My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed meaning we will work at your pace and collaborate on an individualised approach that meets your needs. Together, we can identify your goals, build on your strengths and improve your health and wellbeing now and for the future.

Deb’s Qualifications & Experience

Deb is a Provisional Psychologist currently undertaking her internship at The READ Clinic after completing a Bachelor of Psychology (First Class Honours) and Master of Professional Psychology at the University of New England. Deb has a long and varied background in health both as a registered nurse and a mental health clinician, having worked in general nursing, Neonatal Intensive Care, and Perinatal and Infant Mental Health services for many years. She brings this wealth of knowledge to her psychology practice with a particular interest in perinatal mental health, parent-infant attachment and relational trauma. She has many years’ experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of clients with a broad range of mental health challenges including anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, trauma, personality disorders, Obsessive-compulsive disorder, complex presentations and intergenerational trauma. Deb is trained in CBT, DBT skills, parent -infant dyadic work and a number of other therapeutic approaches which she adapts to individualised care.
