Referral Options

Better Access to Mental Health (BAMH)

Better Access for Mental Health enables patients to access psychological services and gain a rebate from Medicare. A patient must be referred by a GP, a psychiatrist or a paediatrician. Ihis involves the assessment of a patient and preparation of a GP Mental Health Care Plan.

Better Outcomes of Mental Health (BOMH)

Better Outcomes for Mental Health (BOMH) is managed by the local Division of General Practice. GPs undergo training to be registered for this scheme. Psychologists must also apply to become involved with this scheme and patients are referred to participating psychologists by GPs registered with the Division.

Workcover

Our qualified psychologists have been approved under the NSW Workcover scheme to see clients under this referral source. Please speak to your GP regarding a referral.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) (CLICK HERE..)

Private

It is not essential that you have a referral to come to the clinic. Clients may call and book an appointment at any time without a referral and come privately. Please feel free to discuss your options with one of the reception staff.

Cost

Individual Consultations - Prices vary dependant on the referral source, the age of the client and the nature of the appointment. Please call us for and individual assessment and accurate costing.

Group Consultations - The R.E.A.D. Clinic runs a multitude of group sessions over the year. Please call to discuss the available groups, the cost involved and possible rebates available.
