The history

The READ Clinic was established over 25 years ago by child psychologist, author and media personality, Dr John Irvine, and his brother, Clinical Neuropsychologist, Warwick Irvine. Today the Clinic is the longest established and largest private psychology practice on the NSW Central Coast.

As you will see when navigating through the website, the Clinic boasts over 22 specialist clinicians and provides a diverse range of interventions, programs and therapies.

We pride ourselves on providing the most up-to-date interventions with a firm grounding in best-practice and evidence-based research. Whilst we may be the biggest practice, we work hard to maintain the welcoming and friendly atmosphere that John and Warwick originally envisaged for the Clinic.

Our Clinicians

We are proud to have the largest private psychology practice on the Central Coast. Each one of our 22 clinicians is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. This means they all have AT LEAST 6 years of training and that they have ongoing professional development and supervision to ensure their skills are at the highest standard.
